Biblical Geography

This course will present the basic topography and major geographic regions of the Land of Israel, give an overview of important sites mentioned in each period of Biblical history, from the time of the Patriarchs until the time of the Gospels, and teach principles of identifying the location of key Biblical sites

In an attempt to find the locations of key places in Jerusalem mentioned in the Gospels, we’ll discuss the site identifications made by Christian pilgrims in the Byzantine period.
